New hands-free kit launched
Parrot, which provides accessories for mobile phones, has launched its new hands-free kit, the Minikit Slim.
At 13mm wide and weighing 83 grams, Parrot claims the Minikit Slim can be discreetly used on a desk or clipped to a car's sun visor.
Henri Seydoux, founder and chief executive officer at Parrot said: "We were keen to offer a more compact version of the mobile hands-free kit, integrating essential innovative features such as immediate voice-activated access to the telephones commands and phonebook."
The new accessory for mobile phones can record up to 2,500 contacts accessible by voice.
According to Parrot, the voice recognition technology allows users to keep their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road while driving.
Initially, a limited edition Minikit Chic will be available which comes with a floral design motif and will cost £59.99.
In other news, Dialaphone, Phones4U and 3 were among the providers singled out in last week's Mobile Choice UK top ten mobile phone deals.
